Puppies 8 to 20 weeks of age
6 Week Class
Puppy Kindergarten
First class is orientation - please take a short break from your puppy and leave them home this week.
In the puppy class, puppies will socialize with other puppies and humans; owners will learn the importance of socialization, particularly at a very young age. Some of the topics discussed are: house training, nipping/biting, crate training, etc.
Foundational skills include: sit, down, stand, loose leash walk, drop it, settle and more. Handling and grooming basics are also covered. Prevention of problem behaviors is also discussed.

Adolescent/adult dogs (20 weeks and up or with approval) 6 Week Class
Rally for Fun
Real-Life Skills for You and Your Dog!
In Rally, you and your dog heal through a course of stations and perform the specific obedience exercises indicated on each sign. Various signs direct a dog and handler team to turn left or right, and guide them through moves like sit and down, stay, come, fast, or slow, and heeling maneuvers. The courses are unique each time. Rally exercises and movements are real-life skills that you can use in everyday life.

Adolescent/adult dogs (prerequisite: Manners 1 or equivalent) 6 Week Class
Manners 1
First class is orientation - please leave your pup home this week.
This class is a great place to start a newly rescued dog, puppies 5 months and up or an adult dog. Some of the topics discussed are: jumping, barking, destructiveness, etc.
Foundational skills include: sit, down, stand, drop it, leave it, loose leash walking, settle, come when called "Recall", place (stationing), impulse control exercises and more.

Adolescent/adult dogs (prerequisite: Manners 1 or equivalent) 6 Week Class
Manners 2
This class continues the training from our Manners 1 class. We will begin to "proof" our skills. Troubleshooting of simple behavioral issues will be discussed and we will build onto the foundational sills that were taught in Manners 1.
Distance, Duration, and Distractions will be added into previously learned skills. We will start working towards using our new skills in the real world

Canine Good Citizen
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) - Includes the AKC Canine Good Citizen test
The AKC Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners.
Our six week class covers the CGC test items:

Adolescent/adult dogs (prerequisite: Manners 1 or equivalent) 6 Week Class
Therapy Dog Prep Class
Therapy dogs are dogs who go with their owners to volunteer in settings such as schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, etc.
This prep class will prepare you, but you will need to test with one of the therapy dog organizations for certification. Therapy Dog Prep class will prepare you for one of the hardest certification tests out there. Each week we will practice those test items needed to qualify for certification.
